About Jeff Karinattu

Jeff Karinattu is an attorney who focuses on employment law coaching, training, and consulting with U.S. and international clients in every industry. He helps them discover, develop, and implement workplace legal compliance solutions. Core to his work is a belief that behavioral change can only occur once an individual understands the impact of their behavior on the work environment.

Jeff makes understanding an otherwise complicated world of legalese simple, thanks to his unique brand of humorous, engaging, and interactive programs that have entertained and educated thousands of employees, managers, and human resource professionals over the past 22 years. His one-on-one coaching sessions have helped executives discover communication and behavioral issues and develop effective strategies to become better leaders. Some of Jeff’s most frequently requested compliance trainings include anti-harassment training, anti-discrimination training and the “Managing A to Z” training that focuses on how to manage within the law.

Prior to being a legal consultant, Jeff was a government attorney with the Illinois Department of Human Rights, where he was responsible for investigating and evaluating claims under the Illinois Human Rights Act.

Jeff received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He currently resides in New York City but travels extensively and works with many clients in U.S. and international locations.
